National Instruments NI-9918 Industrial Enclosure

The NI-9918 is an Industrial Enclosure equipped with a panel for internal mounting. The NI 9918 has been created by National Instruments. The NI-9918 Industrial Enclosure can also be purchased with the part number 779455-01. The NI 9918 Enclosure offers the user easy wall mounting options with the use of mounting brackets. This Industrial Enclosure does not come with prefabricated holes and arrangements for cables. The user can drill the holes for cable entry for their convenience after buying the enclosure.

The NI-9918 enclosure can provide excellent protection from harsh environments and against water ingress during extreme weather and rain. The NI-9918 enclosure has been specially designed for applications installed outdoors.

This Industrial Enclosure has an IP 66 rating. The NI-9918 is in full conformance with NEMA/EEMAC standards - Type 4 and Type 12. The NI 9918 Industrial Enclosure comes with full compatibility for CompactDAQ and CompactRIO Chassis with 4 and 8 slots.

The NI 9918 Enclosure has been specially designed in order to provide protection for both CompactRIO and CompactDAQ platforms in dusty, harsh, and wet environments. This enclosure is specifically designed for the applications that are to be installed in areas where dust, oil, water and other pollutants exist. The National Instruments NI-9918 Enclosure comes with a window and a durable hinged door for the user’s convenience. The NI-9918 panels also offer an additional panel for internal mounting. The NI-9918 requires additional accessories like nuts for mounting, a grounding hardware set, and additional washers if desired.
