NI-9928 Backshell Kit
The NI-9928 is a Backshell Kit from National Instruments. This kit is designed for 18-position screw terminals. The NI 9928 is constructed from industrial grade, insulating plastic material. This kit also has a strain relief function. Thus, you can ensure the integrity of your test or monitoring system connections by incorporating this system. The upper shell and the lower shell of the NI-9928 can easily be disintegrated by removing a set of screws.
The NI-9928 offers maximum protection since it covers the entire length of the screw terminal. With this Backshell Kit in place, there will be no chance of accidental contact between live conductors and operator tools. The NI 9928 Backshell Kit is available under National Instruments part number 784819-01. If your device has spring terminals, then you can choose backshell kits available for spring terminals.
