The National Instruments SMB-2153 is a breakout box accessory. This model is designed to work with the NI-5742, which is a 32-Channel Signal Generator. The SMB-2153 is specially designed for debugging the NI-5742 Signal Generator. The NI SMB-2153 is available under part number 189408F-07L. The NI-5742 Signal Generator is designed to work in combination with a compatible FlexRIO FPGA Module. The shielding characteristics of this device make it capable of preventing the incoming and outgoing signals from unwanted distortion.
The NI-5742 comes equipped with 16-bit analog output channels. You can configure the analog outputs of this device to drive either bipolar or unipolar output. The troubleshooting of signal generators in complex industrial environments remains a challenging job. The National Instruments SMB-2153 Breakout Box Accessory is designed to assist you with the swift troubleshooting of your signal generator. This shielded accessory comes with a connector regime that complements the connector regime of the SMB-2153. Thus, you can easily connect the two devices through relevant cables.
