National Instruments 779334-01 C-Series Current Output Module.

The part number 779334-01 from National Instruments is the identifying part number for the NI-9265 C-Series Current Output Module. This module is designed to be used in Compact RIO, Compact DAQ, Single-Board RIO and other systems that can be integrated together. This makes it ideal for applications where precise current control is required since it has 4 analog output channels. Its digital-to-analog converter (DAC) has a 16-bit resolution such that from 0 to 20 mA with the DAC of string type which are built-in into this module ensure good and consistent performance.

This module consist of different installation preferences accommodated by various configurations such as the screw terminal and spring terminals hence increasing flexibility in system integration. With the screw terminal wiring, its gauge is 0.2 mm^2 to 2.5 mm^2 with a wire strip length of 13 mm and can bear a temperature of 90 degrees Celsius minimum while for the spring-terminal wiring its gauge is 0.2 mm^2 to 2.5 mm^2 with a wire strip length of 10 mm and can bear a temperature of 90 degrees Celsius minimum. This module has a power consumption of 230 mW maximum in active mode while in sleep mode reaches as low as 25 μW only. It is thus efficient for applications demanding management of power.

With the screw terminal, this module is required to be mounted at an maximum altitude of 5000 meters while at spring terminal it is to mounted at an height of 5000 meters as well. It does not have channel to channel isolation voltages but features channel to earth ground isolation voltage. It can withstand voltages of 250 V RMS at an altitude of 2000 meters and 60 V DC at an altitude of 5000 meters. 

The 779334-01 C-series current output module is designed to operate with temperature range between -40 degrees Celsius and +70 degrees Celsius while its storage temperature ranges from -40 degrees Celsius to +85 degrees Celsius making it a strong and dependable device. The module has an ingress protection rating of IP40 giving protection against moisture, entry by tools and more.
