When the 779592-01 is operating in high-resolution mode, the input bandwidth is 3.3 Hz. The power requirements vary between active mode (maximum 350 mW) and sleep mode (maximum 1 mW), allowing the input module to facilitate precise measurements. The 779592-01 boasts a temperature measurement range that spans from -200 °C to 850 °C (-328 °F to 1,562 °F), allowing for a diverse range of measurements within various testing scenarios. Its common mode range accommodates ±250 Vrms from COM-to-earth ground and 50 mV from Channel-to-COM.

To ensure efficient and secure connectivity, the 779592-01 is designed for screw-terminal wiring capabilities, with single wires in each screw terminal. However, two wires could be used per screw terminal if a 2-wire ferrule is used. The wire gauge range spans from 0.05 mm2 to 1.5 mm2 (30 AWG to 14 AWG) for copper conductors.
