National Instruments NI-9206 C Series Voltage Input Module

The NI-9206 is an efficient C Series Voltage Input Module from National Instruments. The NI-9206 module is available under part number 779526-01. The NI-9206 module can measure input voltage signals in CompactDAQ/CompactRIO systems. The NI-9206 module’s design fulfills all requirements for voltage measurement applications. The module features an efficient combination of channel count, speed, and resolution. The module can easily measure the voltage of 16 consecutive cells. For this purpose, the module common (COM) is referenced to the middle of the NI 9206 bank. The voltage is limited to 10V of the module COM.

The NI-9206 Voltage Input Module has 16 differential input channels. However, these input channels are convertible into 32 single-ended channels. The digital resolution of each channel is 16 bits. The maximum sample rate of the input channels for CompactRIO/CompactDAQ systems is 250 kS/s. The analog bandwidth of the NI-9206 module is 370 kHz. The NI-9206 module supports four ranges of the nominal input voltage. These ranges are +10 V, +5V, +1 V, and +0.2 V. The module is configurable to any of these ranges. The module also has one digital input terminal and one digital output terminal. These channels can bear up to +30 V overvoltage. The module consumes power up to 625 mW in active mode.

The NI 9206 module is used for voltage measuring applications. The module is ideal for high-voltage applications. The module can also accurately monitor large fuel cells. The NI-9206 module features channel-to-earth isolation, which can withstand up to 600 V (US)/400 V(EU). The module additionally offers isolation and overcurrent protection.
