National Instruments NI-9401 C Series Digital Module

The NI-9401 (Part Numbers: 779351-01 and 782401-01) is a C Series Digital Module manufactured by National Instruments. This bidirectional digital module can be used with any cDAQ or cRIO chassis. It is equipped with 2 ports, each of which can be individually configured for either input or output. These ports contain 8 digital I/O channels. The NI-9401 can be used to implement a range of custom digital systems, such as pulse generation, digital communication protocols, counters/timers, and more. The difference between the two part numbers of the module is that part number 782401-01 is conformal coated, while part number 779351-01 is not. 

Every channel of the NI-9401 Module has 60 VDC of channel-to-earth ground isolation and features 5 V/TTL compatibility, 8 Bidirectional Channels, and 100 ns maximum I/O propagation delay. With reconfigurable I/O (RIO) innovation (CompactRIO only), it is possible to utilize the LabVIEW FPGA Module to program the NI-9401 module for executing custom, fast counter/clocks; computerized correspondence conventions; pulse’s creation; and more.

These environmental specifications are in accordance with the IEC 60068-2-1, IEC 60068-2-2, and IEC 60068-2-78 standards.
