The unit can be powered by an 11 to 30 VDC external power supply and offers expansive options through the use of a cFP-1808 expansion chassis for systems requiring more than eight modules, enabling I/O expansion via serial or Ethernet connections.
The front panel features a RJ-45 Ethernet port for network connections and a secondary Ethernet port for private network links. The controller uses FieldPoint software version 6.0.1 or newer and requires LabVIEW Real-Time Module 8.5.1 or newer for application development. Additionally, it includes an RS-232 DTE serial port equipped with a DB-9 connector for further external connectivity.
The controller must be operated in an environment with a temperature between 0 to 55 degrees Celsius and has a humidity rating of 15 % to 85 %. The controller does not feature an International protection rating and hence is required to be installed in a clean environment to avoid dust and moisture from degrading the performance and the internals of the controller.
