National Instruments 777318-610 Multifunction I/O Module for Compact FieldPoint

National Instruments part number 777318-610 is an identifying part number for the cFP-AIO-610, a Multifunction I/O Module for Compact FieldPoint with 4 Input and Output Channels, 12 bits of Resolution and maximum current Range of -20mA, 20mA. The voltage outputs of this module can source or sink up to 10 mA per channel. It offers ±10 V protection for current inputs and ±30 V short-circuit protection for voltage outputs. 

The current inputs have an effective resolution of 11.3 bits, an input impedance of 105 Ω, overcurrent protection of ±100 mA, and a signal input bandwidth of 350 Hz (-3 dB). The NI 777318-610 provides continuous 250 Vrms isolation between each channel and their respective grounds, verified by a 5-second, 2300 Vrms dielectric withstand test. This model is hot-swappable, which allows it to be added to an existing system without interruption. Each channel includes a monitoring circuit that acts as a watchdog, limiting the output current to 10 mA. It has a maximum current of 1.5 W for sourcing or sinking, and a power requirement of 600 mW at no or high-impedance load. 

If the unit fails to maintain the specified voltage level on one or more channels, the monitoring circuit will turn on the red Current Limit LEDs for each affected channel. This error is also reported to the network module. The module is built in the Compact FieldPoint Ethernet form factor and is fully compatible with Microsoft Windows and Real-Time operating systems. This module has four analog input channels for current or voltage with 11 input ranges, and four voltage output channels with 0 to 10 V or ±10 V ranges. The NI cFP-AIO-610 features 20% overranging for input ranges and 2% overranging for voltage output ranges. Its voltage inputs have an effective resolution of 11.3 bits and an impedance of 1.5 MΩ.
