To endure high levels of shock and vibration, Compact FieldPoint backplanes are constructed from extruded metal, offering a sturdy mounting surface for the Compact FieldPoint modules. Additionally, the backplane features screw-down connections for the controller module, I/O modules, and connector blocks. The 778617-08 comes with a 37-pin D-SUB connector. Transient loads and operating voltages are measured through circuitry integrated into the device, facilitating testing and measurement. The 778617-08Backplane Module for Compact FieldPoint also includes the cFP-PM-H horizontal mounting bracket.
