National Instruments cFP-DI-304 Digital Input Module for Compact FieldPoint
The cFP-DI-304 (Part number: 777318-304) is a Digital Input Module for Compact FieldPoint developed by National Instruments. This module is used to monitor voltage levels of the signals. The module is compatible with cFP devices. The module is interfaced with the Compact FieldPoint backplane. The cFP-DI-304 offers isolation between modules. This feature protects the Compact FieldPoint system/controller from high voltages. The cFP-DI-304 is mainly used for monitoring limit switches, power circuits, and relay closures. The module is also compatible with TTL devices.
The cFP-DI-304 Digital Input Module features 32 digital input channels. The impedance of the digital inputs is 30 kΩ. The input channels of the module are the sinking type. The module works over a range of 0~30 VDC. Also, the device has 2 analog output channels. The National Instruments cFP-DI-304 offers a continuous isolation of 250 Vrms between its channels and backplane. However, channels of the cFP-DI-304 are not isolated from each other.
