National Instruments cFP-DO-403 Digital Output Module for Compact FieldPoint
The cFP-DO-403 (Part number: 777318-403) is a multipurpose Digital Output Module from National Instruments. This module is featured with 16 sinking digital output channels. Each channel is attuned with voltages from 5 to 30 VDC. This module can provide 2 amperes of current for every channel and has a maximum of 16 A squared per module. Each channel is structured with an LED, which helps indicate the channel state as on/off. The NI cFP-DO-403 module also has 2300 V transient isolation between the backplane and the output channels. The module has a hot PnP feature for setup and installation. It can also detect and identify the configuration software automatically.
The cFP-DO-403 Digital Output Module is designed to mount on a cFP-BP-x Compact FieldPoint Backplane. The backplane gives functioning power to the module. This module can be used with the cFP-CB-x Connector Block, which offers links for all 16 output channels and for an external supply. The NI cFP-DO-403 has 8 common terminals (COM). Moreover, this module has 8 power connections to power field devices (VSUP). The maximum update rate of each channel is 20 kHz. The module has an output impedance of 0.12 Ω.
