National Instruments cRIO-9055 CompactRIO Controller
Featured with 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports and a MicroSD card slot, the NI cRIO-9055 (Part Number: 787043-01) is a CompactRIO Controller from National Instruments. This CompactRIO Controller comes with an extended temperature range and has 4 slots. Thus, the NI cRIO-9055 can host as many as four identical or different C Series modules simultaneously. This CompactRIO Controller comes equipped with a powerful, dual-core Intel Atom microprocessor that can operate at a maximum frequency of 1.33 GHz. Moreover, the onboard hardware resources include 2 gigabytes of RAM (random access memory) and 4 gigabytes of storage. You can always increase the storage capability of the cRIO-9055 by using a compatible MicroSD card.
This CompactRIO Controller supports communication over Ethernet and can auto-negotiate to adjust itself according to the configuration of your network. The two Ethernet ports support 1000Base-T, 100Base-TX, and 10Base-T network interfaces to communicate at 1000 Mb/s, 100 Mb/s, or 10 Mb/s respectively. The NI cRIO-9055 CompactRIO Controller can be powered through a 9 to 30 VDC power supply and consumes 30 watts of power while in operation and 3.4 watts in standby mode. However, National Instruments recommends the use of a 24 VDC, 60 W power supply with this CompactRIO Controller.
The reconfigurable FPGA incorporated in the National Instruments cRIO-9055 CompactRIO Controller is a Xilinx Artix-7 A100T FPGA, which comes with 126,800 flip-flops and 63,400 6-input LUTs. For nonvolatile storage, the NI cRIO-9055 has an integrated SSD (solid-state drive). This CompactRIO Controller features an internal frequency generator that can be lined up to any module PFI or controller PFI terminal.
