National Instruments sbRIO-9631 CompactRIO Single-Board Controller
Featured with a 1M Gate FPGA and 266 MHz CPU, the NI sbRIO-9631 is an embedded CompactRIO Controller. This Controller has 32 16-bit Analog Inputs (AI), four 16-bit Analog Outputs, (AO) and 110 3.3V digital lines. The NI sbRIO-9631 is a unique device where an FPGA, a real-time controller, a microprocessor, and various I/O are provided on a single board to suit a broad range of OEM applications. The National Instruments sbRIO-9631 can be operated with a single 19 to 30 VDC external power supply.
This embedded Controller comes with 128 MB of internal, nonvolatile storage and has three C Series expansion slots. The hardware architecture of this CompactRIO Single-Board Controller is designed to combine a real-time microprocessor with an integrated field-programmable gate array (FPGA) via an internal, high-speed PCI bus. All the onboard 3.3 V digital I/O lines of this Controller are directly controlled by the FPGA.
The National Instruments sbRIO-9631 CompactRIO Single-Board Controller comes equipped with an integrated Ethernet interface compatible with IEEE 802.3 that supports 10 Mb/s, 100 Mb/s communication rates. The serial port incorporated in this Controller enables you to communicate with different types of external devices. The built-in real-time controller of the NI sbRIO-9631 offers connectivity through HTTP and FTP protocols as well. This embedded Controller consumes around 7.75 watts of power to maintain its operations. The 32 AI channels can also be operated as 16 differential channels.
sbRIO-9631 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the CompactRIO Single-Board Controller will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
