National Instruments sbRIO-9632 CompactRIO Single-Board Controller
Featuring 128 MB of Dynamic RAM (DRAM) and a 2M FPGA, the National Instruments sbRIO-9632 is a CompactRIO Single-Board Controller. This Controller offers better embedment in a variety of applications where high-performance and flexibility are necessary. The sbRIO-9632 is powered by a 400 MHz Freescale MPC5200 microprocessor. Moreover, you also get a completely configurable field-programmable gate array (FPGA) in this Controller that can be programmed for high-speed control, inline signal processing, and custom I/O timing applications through the LabVIEW FPGA Module.
The NI sbRIO-9632 CompactRIO Single-Board Controller comes with multiple communication ports that are widely found in other industrial devices, including a serial port and an Ethernet port. The availability of these communication interfaces provides you with unlimited integration opportunities. Thus, you can now design and integrate a CompactRIO control or data acquisition system with your existing National Instruments control or DAQ hardware. The National Instruments sbRIO-9632 can host as many as three C Series modules, since it comes with three onboard C Series connectors.
The availability of four analog output channels and 32 single-ended (or 16 differential) analog input channels make this Controller a viable solution where a combination of digital and analog signals needs to be handled. The Xilinx Spartan-3 FPGA incorporated in this Controller has 46,080 logic cells and 720 kb of available embedded RAM. The NI sbRIO 9632 offers an advanced user-interference through the built-in FTP and HTTP servers. You can easily communicate with this Embedded Controller via a standard Ethernet cable.
sbRIO-9632 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the CompactRIO Single-Board Controller will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
