National Instruments DAQCard-516 Multifunction I/O Device
The DAQCard-516 is a Multifunction I/O Device developed by National Instruments. The NI DAQCard-516 is prepared with individual part numbers based on the nature of the operating used for the DAQCard-516 module. The DAQCard-516 is a part of the 516 product family series. The DAQCard-516 is operated with the NI-DAQ driver on Windows 2000/NT/9x and Mac operating systems. Using NI-DAQ allows users to swiftly and easily begin their application because it doesn’t require you to program the device on the register level. The DAQCard-516 is installed using application software like LabVIEW, BridgeVIEW, Measure, VirtualBench, Lookout, and Component-Works.
The NI DAQCard-516 is an affordable device designed for lab work in academic and industrial settings. Two optional accessories you can use with this device are the CB-27 I/O connector block and the PR27-30F I/O connector with 0.5 or 1 m connector cable. The DAQCard-516 renders multiple functions for input/output connections. The intention to produce a DAQCard-516 is to reach the level of 50 kS/s sampling rate. The DAQCard-516 is designed with 8 single-ended or 4 differential analog input channels. The resolution of 16-bits is incorporated for the DAQCard-516. This device has two 10 MHz timers/counters having 16-bit resolution for recording time sequences of the operations.
The DAQCard-516 is built with 8 digital input/output lines. The NI DAQCard-516 has a slave bus interface. The DAQCard-516 has a power requirement of 60 mA in operational mode or 20 mA in power-down mode at +5 VDC. This Multifunction I/O Device is equipped with a 27-pin male I/O connector.
