National Instruments PXIe-4302 PXI Analog Input Module

The National Instruments PXIe-4302 (Part Number: 783865-01) is a high-performance analog input module intended for data acquisition and industrial automation applications. It measures voltage, current, and thermocouples precisely. With 32 differential analog input channels and a 24-bit Delta-Sigma ADC in each, the PXIe-4302 guarantees dependable and precise data collection. With a maximum sample rate of 5 kS/s made possible by its simultaneous sampling mode, all channels can be measured in real time.

The PXIe-4302 supports two operation modes: Buffered Mode and Hardware-Timed Single Point Mode. Buffered mode enables simultaneous sampling across all 32 channels with anti-alias filtering. Hardware-Timed Single Point Mode is optimized for low-latency control applications. Users can improve filtering performance by choosing a different digital filter for each channel based on the demands of a particular application. This makes sure that even in noisy conditions, signal capture is clear and accurate. Users may easily adjust to changing sensor needs thanks to the module's support for different sampling rates and concurrent triggering configurations. Rising-edge, falling-edge, or window-based triggering are just a few of the flexible triggering choices that the PXIe-4302 provides to meet a range of measurement requirements.

The module supports analog triggering only as a reference trigger, not as a start trigger. Digital triggering can also be accomplished using software-selectable minimum pulse width and polarity settings using a variety of sources, such as PFI0, PXI_TRIG, PXI_STAR, and more. With minimal gain and offset drift over temperature fluctuations, the PXIe-4302 shows outstanding performance in terms of temperature stability. In spite of challenging operating circumstances, this guarantees measurement accuracy.

Because it adheres to the x1 PXI Express peripheral module form factor, the PXIe-4302 can be installed in PXI Express hybrid slots or regular PXI Express slots. Data transport is made more efficient with four DMA channels for analog input. The module's small size—standard 3U PXIe dimensions and 156 g in weight—ensures simple integration into current configurations and requires little rack space. As it can resist a wide range of environmental conditions, the PXIe-4302 has a temperature range of 0°C to 55°C for ambient settings and -40°C to 71°C for storage circumstances.
