With its 4-input/1-output channel configuration, it provides flexible capability to meet various demands in industrial automation.
The 780164-01 facilitates precise data acquisition from accelerometers and microphones by using integrated electronic piezoelectric (IEPE) signal conditioning. As it synchronizes smoothly with the input channels, its analog output channel makes stimulus-response testing easier. Strong performance in a variety of situations is guaranteed by the module, which supports a voltage range of ±10 V and offers overvoltage protection up to ±60 V.
Users are able to customize the device to meet particular measurement requirements by utilizing software-selectable IEPE signal conditioning (2.1 mA constant current). To improve compatibility and ease of integration, the module has the ability to read and write to transducer electronic data sheet (TEDS) Class 1 smart sensors.
The 780164-01 offers versatility and efficiency in data acquisition tasks with its four simultaneous analog input channels. Antialiasing filters are integrated into every channel, and they automatically adapt to the sampling rate to provide the best possible performance. The device's analog-to-digital conversion process uses delta-sigma modulation, which guarantees accurate and consistent signal capture.
Using a delta-sigma modulation digital-to-analog converter (DAC) for output, the 780164-01 can produce a wide range of signals, including DC voltage, sine waves up to 43.5 kHz, and arbitrary waveforms. Accurate signal reproduction is ensured by the DAC's flat passband and good image rejection capabilities.
Because it is compatible with the NI Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite, the 780164-01 is an excellent option for applications involving noise and vibration analysis.
