National Instruments 778075-01 Multifunction DAQ  

National Instruments part number 778075-01 is an identifying part number for the PCI-6034E, a Multifunction DAQ from E series with 8 Differential Input channels of 16 bits resolution and a maximum of 200 kS/s sampling Rate. This Multifunction DAQ is ideal for real-time high-speed data logging, control applications, and high-voltage signal or sensor measurements using NI signal conditioning. The National Instruments 778075-01 Multifunction DAQ features 16 single-ended or 8 differential analog input channels, which are software-selectable per channel. All inputs must remain within ±11 V of ground. 

The DAQ-STC provides a highly versatile interface for connecting timing signals to other boards or external hardware. It uses the RTSI bus to link timing signals between boards, and the Programmable Function Input (PFI) pins on the I/O connector connect the board to external hardware. The signal source is isolated from the building ground system, instead having a separate ground-reference point. The Multifunction DAQ device is equipped with a 68-pin male SCSI-II type I/O connector. 

The 778075-01includes analog input signals labeled ACH<0..15>, ASENSE, and AIGND. How these analog input signals connect to the device depends on the type of signal source and the configuration of the analog input channels in use. The boards also feature eight lines of digital I/O for general-purpose use. Each line can be independently programmed for either input or output. Upon system startup and reset, the digital I/O ports default to high impedance. The hardware up/down control for general-purpose counters 0 and 1 is connected on-board to DIO6 and DIO7, respectively. Therefore, DIO6 and DIO7 can be used to control these counters. The up/down control signals are input-only and do not affect the operation of the DIO lines.  It requires a recommended warm-up time of 15 minutes and should undergo calibration once a year.
