National Instruments PCI-6052E Multifunction DAQ
With the PCI-6052E (Part number: 777745-01) Multifunction DAQ, the user can reach up to 333 kS per second sample rate and 16-bit analog input resolution on 16 single-ended or 8 differential analog input channels. The PCI-6052E can circle at ranges superior to 333 kS/s depending on the kind of hard drive. This model has a simple and computerized activating ability and in addition offers eight advanced I/O lines, two 16-bit output channels, and 24-bit and 20 MHz counters/clocks. The device is DC input coupled, with a maximum working voltage of ±11 V.
The NI PCI 6052E utilizes the NI DAQ system timing controller or DAQ-STC for functions relevant to time. The DAQ-STC is comprised of three timing groups which control, general-purpose counter/timer, analog input, and analog output functions. These three groups have seven 24-bit and three 16-bit counters with a timing resolution of 50 ns at the most. The PCI 6052E has a FIFO buffer size of 512 samples, with 3 Direct Memory Access (DMA) channels in a scatter-gather mode. The device has a recommended warm-up time of 15 minutes.
The TRIG1 signal on the PCI 6052E is arranged in the edge-location mode. The user can choose any PFI stick as the hotspot for TRIG1 and arrange the extremity choice for either rising or falling edge. The chosen edge of the TRIG1 signal begins the information procurement succession for both post triggered and pre-triggered acquisitions.
As an output on the NI PCI-6052E, the TRIG1 signal mirrors the activity that starts a DAQ succession, regardless of whether the securing is in effect remotely activated by another PFI.
