National Instruments FP-AO-200 FieldPoint Analog Loop Output Module

The FP-AO-200 (Part Number: 777518-200) is a FieldPoint Analog Output Module. The module uses current loops to drive different devices. The FP-AO-200 has several special features like safety isolation and onboard diagnostics. The FP-AO-200 can be used straight away with the machine. It means there is no need to shut down the system to install this module. This module can be plugged in without disturbing other modules. The operating power is supplied to the FieldPoint FP-AO-200 from the terminal base.

The FP-AO-200 FieldPoint Analog Output Module features eight output channels. The output channels are single-ended with a resolution of 12 bits. The output channels of the FP-AO-200 are programmable. These channels can be configured to operate on two different output ranges. The FP-AO-200 has an output range of either 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA. The voltage drop in the module is 3 V. The FP-AO-200 is designed to withstand open-circuit and short-circuit faults. The maximum conversion rate of the NI FP-AO-200 is 200 updates per second. The module has a slew rate of 0.4 mA/µs.
