National Instruments FP-RTD-PT100-3 RTD Analog Input Module

The FP-RTD-PT100-3 is a product from the FieldPoint RTD modules family. The NI FP-RTD-PT100-3 is manufactured by National Instruments. This module is developed with the part number 778069-32. The FP-RTD-PT100-3 is built with platinum metal. The FP-RTD-PT100-3 is designed with three-wire connections and contains two analog input channels.

The NI FP-RTD-PT100-3 module provides a channel resolution of 12-bits for measurements. The FP-RTD-PT100-3 functions with an input impedance of 100 Ω. This module is fabricated with the linearization curves with the DIN 43760 standard RTD, which is α = 0.00385. Each channel on this RTD Analog Input Module can be programmed for the °F or °C scale. The FP-RTD-PT100-3 has two sets of screw terminals on top and does not connect to the screw terminals on the FP-TB-10 Terminal Base. This module can handle only one channel from each instrument when being used for channel-to-channel applications.

This RTD Analog Input Module is built with a measurement bandwidth of 15 Hz. The FP-RTD-PT100-3 has ±6 V input protection. The National Instruments FP-RTD-PT100-3 has an input range of -50 to 350 °C. The NI FP-RTD-PT100-3 operates within the temperature range of -40 to 70 °C. This module is capable of a 42 ms step response time for RTD inputs. This RTD Analog Input Module is compatible with storage temperatures in the range between -50 to 85 °C. The FP-RTD-PT100-3 has a power requirement of 375 mW maximum. This module functions with an excitation current of 100 μs. The NI FP-RTD-PT100-3 is EMC certified.
