National Instruments 782511-01 RF Adapter Module for FlexRIO

Part Number 782511-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments NI-5792 RF Adapter Module for FlexRIO. The 782511-01 supports an RF frequency range of 200 MHz to 4.4 GHz and has an instantaneous bandwidth of 200 MHz. The tuning resolution is less than 250 kHz. Similarly, the LO step size in integer mode can take values of 4 MHz, 6 MHz, 12 MHz, and 24 MHz while a step size of only 100 kHz is supported in fractional mode.

The 782511-01 has a 14-bit dual-channel ADC with a data rate of 250 MS/s and an I/Q data rate of 1.84 kS/s to 250 MS/s. The module comes with a sample clock that has a frequency of 250 MHz. The reference clock has a frequency of 10 MHz. The 782511-01 has 12 bidirectional AUX I/O channels (8 digital I/O and 4 PFI) and works on the 3.3 LVCMOS interface standard. Likewise, it uses an HDMI connector. The digital inputs support a minimum high-level voltage (VIH) of 2.0 V and a maximum low-level voltage (VIL) of 0.8 V. On the other hand, the digital outputs have a maximum low-level output voltage (VOL) of 0.4 V, and the minimum and maximum high-level output voltage (VOH) are 2.7 V and 3.6 V respectively. The maximum toggle frequency for all outputs is 6.6 MHz while the overvoltage protection is ±10 V.

The 782511-01 measures (5.1 × 0.8 × 4.7 in) in physical dimensions and weighs 413 g. It has I/O connectors for RX IN, LO OUT, LO IN, CLK IN, and CLK OUT channels. The module consumes a power of 6 W. The 782511-01 is recommended for operation between temperatures of  0 °C to 55 °C at a relative humidity of 10% to 90%. Likewise, it is designed for indoor use only and should be operated within a maximum altitude of 2000 m. On the other hand, it can be stored between -40 °C to 70 °C at a relative humidity of 5% to 95%.
