National Instruments 781169-01 Frame Grabber Device

This device is equipped with high-speed DMA controllers allowing efficient data transfer between the device and host memory. It also features scatter-gather DMA to continuously perform image transfers and store fragments of memory buffer. This device's PCI express interface is compatible with PCIe 1.1 and is designed for x4 slots, though it can operate in x8 or x16 slots in an up-plugging configuration. The instrument supports up to seven RTSI bus triggers and one external trigger which can be programmed for polarity and direction. The 781169-01 also supports ROI acquisitions allowing it to select a subset of the acquisition window for transfer and processing as it improves efficiency by focusing on relevant image areas.
