National Instruments PCIe-1433 Frame Grabber
The PCIe-1433 (Part number: 781169-01, 142779B-01L) is a Frame Grabber designed by National Instruments. The PCIe-1433 is used to acquire images through a camera link. This device supports Base, Medium, Full, and Extended Full configuration Camera Link-compatible cameras. This device supports Power over Camera Link or PoCL. This is an extension to the Camera Link standard which enables Frame Grabbers to power cameras via a Camera Link cable. The PCIe-1433 device is specifically designed for scientific imaging and machine vision implementation. This device offers many advanced features, such as pixel decimation and lookup tables. The NI PCIe-1433 also has an onboard programmable region of interest. An image scaling option is also available in the device. Hubs are interfaced with the ports of the device which allows the acquisition of images from additional cameras. The PCI express device has a x4 native link width.
The PCIe-1433 Frame Grabber has a single I/O channel on the front panel of the device. Additional I/O channels are also provided for pulse-train outputs and advanced triggering. For additional features, the NI PCIe-1433 Frame Grabber can be interfaced with NI-DAQ or the motion control products family. The NI PCIe 1433 also supports the RTSI bus, which enables the device to synchronize with external devices. The PCIe-1433 can be connected to as many as four external devices simultaneously. The PCIe-1433 incorporates two 26-pin MDR connectors for different functions. The device has a power requirement of 1.5 A at +3.3 V, and 1.25 A at +12 V.
The National Instruments NI PCIe-1433 comes with Camera link 1.2 as standard. Camera link is an interface bridge between digital cameras and image acquisition modules. Camera link provides a single similar connector for grabber devices and cameras. The PCIe-1433 comes with built-in NI Vision Acquisition software. The supported driver software for NI Vision is NI-IMAQ. NI-IMAQ is only used for image acquisition, while image analysis is completed in other application software. The device weighs 7.23 oz., and measures 4.2 x 6.9 in. in physical dimensions. It has a recommended operating temperature range of 0 °C to 50 °C, and a storage temperature range of –20 °C to 70 °C.
