National Instruments 779121-01 PXI Multifunction I/O Module.

The part number 779121-01 from National Instruments is the identifying part number for the PXI-6281 PXI Multifunction I/O Module. This I/O module features 8 differential or 16 single ended current analog input channels with an 18-bit analog-to-digital converters for helping convert the analog signals from the actuators to digital format through digital signal processing. The input range of each channel is ±0.1 V to ±10 V with a maximum single channel sampling rating of 250kS per second for a faster data acquisition process and a maximum multi channel sampling rate of 500 kS/s. 

This module has an input impedance of >10 GΩ in parallel with a capacitor of 100 pF connected in parallel when the device is ON while 820 Ω when the device is OFF, this is to help lower signal loading. The module has an overvoltage protection rating of ±25 volts with the device ON and ±15 V with the device OFF. The output channels have an update rate of 2.86 MS/s when one single channel is being used while it is reduced to 2.00 MS/s when both channels are used simultaneously for optimized performance. 

The 779121-01 module also features 24 digital I/O channels. The digital channels have a voltage range of 0 volts DC to 30 Volts DC and have a current range of 100 mA when all the channels are being used simultaneously or 350 mA when only one channel is being used. 

The serial interface module is designed to operate at temperature of 0 degrees Celsius to 55 degrees Celsius and storage temperature of -20 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius with a humidity of 10% to 90%, noncondensing. It is built to be mounted at an maximum altitude of 2000 meters with a pollution degree of 2 and is intended to be used in indoors. The 779121-01 can be powered using the PCI/PXI bus operating at 5 volts while drawing a current of 2 A or operating on a 12-volt supply and drawing 20 mA of current. This module has a compact and portable design with dimensions of  10.6 cm × 15.5 cm and weighing approximately 225 grams.
