National Instruments PCI-6250 Multifunction DAQ
The PCI-6250 (Part number: 779069-01) is an efficient Multifunction DAQ by National Instruments. This device is specifically designed to read high-speed data with accuracy. The PCI-6250 device is an M-series DAQ board. This device incorporates NI-MCal calibration technology, which increases the accuracy of measurements. The PCI-6250 device has an onboard NI-PGIA 2 amplifier. This amplifier offers high accuracy when the device is reading samples from all channels at the highest sampling rate. The PCI-6250 I/O device supports NI-DAQmx driver software. The data-logging software supported by this device is NI LabVIEW.
The PCI-6250 Multifunction DAQ has eight differential analog input channels. These inputs can be programmed to work as 16 single-ended channels. The timing resolution of the input channels is 50 ns. The device has a maximum rate of sampling of 1.25 MS/sec in single-channel sampling mode. It reduces 1 MS/s per channel during the multichannel sampling mode. The input voltage range of the PCI-6250 is from +0.1 V to +10 V. The maximum working voltage of the PCI-6250 is +11V. The input FIFO memory is 4095 samples. In addition to the above, this device also has 24 digital input/output channels. The digital channels are independent and can be selected as both inputs or outputs.
The PCI-6250 Multifunction DAQ has two general-purpose counters/timers. The counters have a resolution of 32 bits. The PCI-6250 has two types of clock sources, internal and external. The internal base clocks have fixed frequencies of 0.1 MHz, 20 MHz, and 80 MHz. The frequency range of the external base cock is 0-20 MHz.
PCI-6250 Legacy Status has been announced by National Instruments, but will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
