National Instruments USB-6255 Multifunction I/O Device

The USB-6255 (Part Numbers: 779959-01, 779958-01, 779958-04, 779959-04) is an instrument for data acquisition from National Instruments. This useful Multifunction I/O Device has an onboard amplifier planned for settling times at high scanning rates. The NI USB-6255 has 16-bit resolution. It provides this accuracy even when the user measures all the available channels at the maximum speed. This Multifunction I/O Device have a minimum of 24 digital I/ O lines. This device also has seven programmable input ranges. This device incorporates analog and digital triggering as well.

The USB-6255 is the best device for testing and controlling many applications. This device also enables the user to design these applications. Portable data logging is one such application. This application helps users log environmental or voltage data quickly and easily. The USB-6255 additionally enables users to test, control, and design field-monitoring applications. This device also works with Embedded OEM Applications and Academic Labs. This Multifunction I/O Device has a recommended calibration interval of two years.

The NI USB-6255 has 40 differential or 80 single-ended analog input channels and an aggregate multichannel sampling rate. The single-channel sampling rate of this device is 1.25 MS/s. The input impedance of this instrument is 820Ω when it is on. This Multifunction I/O Device includes has several analog triggers. These triggers perform the functions of Start Trigger, Sample Clock Timebase, Sample Clock, Reference Trigger, Convert Clock, and Pause Trigger. These triggers provide 10-bit resolution measurements. These triggers work in Analog edge triggering mode, analog edge triggering with hysteresis, or Analog Window Triggering mode.

The USB-6255 Multifunction I/O Device is no longer available with National Instruments, but it will remain available in perpetuity with Apex Waves for both purchase and repair services.
