It makes a strong connection between a PCI Express-equipped desktop PC or suitable device and a PXI Chassis, allowing remote operation of PXI and PXI Express systems via a software-transparent link.
When attached to a PXI Express chassis, the PCIe-8361 device offers a single PCI Express link with a sustained throughput of up to 192 MB/s. Because of its high throughput capacity, it is perfect for applications that need dependable remote control functionality and effective data transfer rates. Because the software-transparent link guarantees that no further programming is needed, integration and operation are made simpler.
The 779701-03 bundle makes it possible to operate PXI Express systems from any PCI Express slot, making a variety of computers—including workstations, servers, and desktops—able to administer PXI Express systems. In the controlling computer, this bundle basically converts PXI and PXI Express modules into PCI boards. PXI systems provide superior synchronization features, a wide array of modules, improved power and cooling per slot, and greater slot availability.
