This Cable comes with a 15-pin male DSUB connector at its one end and 15 un-terminated or bare cables are provided on the other end. Thus, you can use this cable in a variety of configurations. One of the most common applications of the DB15M-PIGTAIL cable is motion control where third-party drives or limit switches are widely used.
With this cable, you can connect any 15-pin National Instruments device with external devices that allow spring terminal-based connectivity or with devices where signal cables can directly be connected. The DB15M-PIGTAIL can also be considered for NI Vision devices such as the PCIe-1427. The 15 wires incorporated in this cable are color-coded– a feature that ensures easy connectivity.
