This Cable is designed to operate while fulfilling 6 Gb/s to 12 Gb/s bandwidth requirements as required by the SAS 2.1 and SAS 3.0 specifications. The Mini-SAS HD x4 Cable offers great port density and is fully compliant with the SFF-8644 and SFF-8643 industry specifications. This Cable is fully compatible with PCI Express and can be deployed in PCIe architecture applications.
The NI Mini-SAS HD x4 Cable is offered as a 1 meter cable (Part Number: 783976-01) and a 3 meter cable (Part Number: 769041-03). The connectors incorporated in this Cable can be used for both 12G and 6G systems. Thus, you don’t have to upgrade cables as you switch from the 6G system to the 12G system.
