National Instruments R37-37 Ribbon Cable
The R37-37 (Part Number: 779195-01) is a Ribbon Cable from National Instruments with 1 ribbon connection. This Ribbon Cable comes with a 37-Pin, Female D-SUB Back End Connection and a 37-Pin, Male IDC Front End Connection. The female-to-male configuration of this cable enables it to be used to cross-connect various 37-Pin National Instruments devices. The R37-37 cable is 1 meter long.
The male IDC connector (insulation-displacement contact connector) in this cable can be plugged into any 37-pin IDC female connector. For firm connectivity, the IDC connector of the NI R37-37 features mechanical interlocking. This cable is often recommended by National Instruments for various DAQ cards, including the NI-6520 and NI-6521 because these devices contains a 37-pin D-SUB interface. The R37-37 is a cost-effective 37-pin solution, but it cannot be considered for applications where shielded cables are recommended due to electrical noise. The National Instruments R37-37 Ribbon Cable does not have twisted pairing.
