National Instruments SHC68-68-EPM Multifunction Cable

National Instruments' SHC68-68-EPM (Part Numbers: 199006-01, 199006-02, 199006-05, 199006-0R25, 199006-0R35, 199006-0R5, 199006-10) Multifunction Cable is a shielded cable that can be used to link M Series, X Series, and some S Series devices to accessories or other cables that include D-SUB connections. This cable is perfect for bespoke cabling solutions for your DAQ devices because it has a 68-pin female D-SUB connector on one end and a 68-pin VHDCI male connection on the other.

The SHC68-68-EPM cable is precisely engineered to provide high-frequency and high-speed signal transmission, which is necessary to preserve signal integrity in demanding industrial applications. It has separately insulated analog input pairs as well as digital twisted pairs, all of which are made to function better than the others. The mutual capacitance of the digital twisted pairs is 14.5 pF/ft, the differential impedance is 107 ohms, and the time delay is 1.55 ns/ft. The analog input pairs have a mutual capacitance of 23.0 pF/ft, a differential impedance of 66 ohms, and a time delay of 1.55 ns/ft. At 20 °C, the conductor DC resistances are all 0.099 ohms/ft, which guarantees maximum performance and no signal loss.

For applications that demand high precision and little electromagnetic interference, the SHC68-68-EPM is very helpful.
