NI SHC68-C68-D5 Cable
Designed for the NI-2515, the SHC68-C68-D5 (Part Number: 781362-01) is a cable assembly from National Instruments. The length of this cable measures 0.5 meters. This cable has excellent shielding characteristics. Shielded cables are recommended for systems where electrical noise can interfere with other critical signals. This cable is the only recommended cable for systems where National Instruments High-Speed DIO Devices should be connected to the NI-2515.
The NI SHC68-C68-D5 Cable has a manual available that explains the pinout of the DIO Device to the HSDIO connector found on the National Instruments NI-2515. This cable comes equipped with two 68-position VHDCI (male connectors). The first connector is plugged into the switch module (NI-2515) and the second 68-pin VHDCI connector is plugged into the high-speed DIO device. The SHC68-C68-D5 cable is designed to operate with a maximum current of 300 mA per pin. This cable weighs less than 1 lb. This cable is recommended for indoor installations only.
