The 777559-01 is a cost-efficient device, making it particularly suitable for OEMs and educational laboratories. This Digital Multimeter Device has two operation modes; AC and DC. The AC voltage range is 20 Vrms to 250 Vrms. Whereas the DC mode has a maximum resolution of up to 5.5 bits, and the voltage range for the DC mode is from +20 mV to +250V.
This device can measure resistance using 2-wire and 4-wire methods. In the 2-wire mode, users can select from a range of 200 Ω to 200 MΩ. The auto-range option is also available. In 4-wire mode, both pairs of terminals are utilized. The 4-wire mode eliminates the effects of lead resistance; with this feature, this digital multimeter can measure low valve resistance with precision. The measurement with this mode ranges from 200 Ω to 2 MΩ.
This Digital Multimeter can also be used to measure diodes. It can measure up to 2V in diode testing mode. In this mode, a diode is excited by the 777559-01, and a voltage drop is measured. The diode being tested is indicated as defective or reverse-biased if the reading is 2.20V. This multimeter comes with a recommended warm-up time of 30 minutes. Moreover, it has an input resistance of 1 Mohm and a bandwidth of 20 Hz to 25kHz.
