National Instruments 779771-01 Digital Multimeter

This versatile instrument is utilized for various measurement applications involving current and voltage, as well as diode testing and resistance measurements. This device is widely applicable in measurement facilities and cost-conscious testing situations due to its affordability, making it a preferred choice for educational labs and OEMs. 

Operating with the NI-DMM driver software requires a warm-up time of 30 minutes and external calibration at least once a year. The multimeter component of this model can measure voltages in various formats, including analog-to-digital and vice versa. Additionally, it also measures current. The 779771-01 has a power consumption of less than 3 units, specifically for the PCI Express motherboard. 

The NI device offers a maximum reading rate of 3000 samples per second (S/s) at 4½ digits with a resolution of 15 bits and a minimum reading rate of 10 samples per second (S/s) at 6½ digits with a resolution of 22 bits. It provides DC voltage and current ranges from 100 mV to 300 V and 10 mA to 3 A respectively, as well as AC voltage and current ranges from 200 mVrms (±320 mVp) to 300 Vrms (±425 Vp) and 10 mArms (±15 mAp) to 3 Arms (±4.2 Ap) respectively.
