National Instruments 781043-01 Multifunctional I/O Device 

The part number 781043-01 from National Instruments is the identifying part number for the PCIe-6320 Multifunctional I/O Device. This Data Acquisition Multifunctional I/O Device is part of the PCIe X series of modules. It can sample 250,000 samples in one second with a resolution of 16 bits. The module features 16 single-ended channels which can be configured into 8 differential analog input channels providing better noise immunity compared to the single-ended channels. 

The 781043-01 module supports signals of varying amplitudes whether they are strong signals of ±10 Volts or weak signals with an amplitude of up to ±0.2 Volts. During the "Active" mode, the device has an input impedance of 10 GΩ to ensure minimal loading on the signal source. The analog inputs of this module are protected for up to ±25 Volts. 

This Multifunctional I/O device also features 24 digital I/O channels which the users can program through the supported NI software. The channels can be programmed as input or output or a combination of both. The digital I/O has a maximum clock frequency of 1 MHz and also features a signal debouncing filter. The maximum voltage the digital I/O's can support is ±20 V on up to two pins.  The instrument is also equipped with 4 32-bit general-purpose counters capable of performing edge counting, measuring the width of a pulse, measuring the period of a signal, and quadrature encoder measurements. These counters support clock frequencies of 100 MHz, 20 MHz, and 100 kHz, providing accurate timing for counter operations.

The 781043-01 requires a PCI Express x1 interface to operate. It can be operated with a voltage of 3.3 volts or 12 volts DC. When operating at 3.3 volts the 781043-01 consumes 1.4 watts, and at 12 volts DC, it consumes approximately 8.6 Watts. This module has dimensions of 9.9 × 16.8 cm and weighs 104 g. The manufacturer recommends using the 781043-01 indoors as this module does not have an Ingress Protection rating and can only sustain a maximum temperature of 50 degrees Celsius with a max humidity of 90%.
