The 781432-01 is equipped with essential connectors for signal routing and synchronization. The REF IN connector accepts a 10 MHz frequency signal with a maximum voltage of 2 Vpk-pk, while the REF OUT connectors deliver 10 MHz and 100 MHz frequency reference signals generated by the module’s onboard oven-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO). Additionally, the module features LO1 OUT, LO2 OUT, and LO3 OUT terminals for the 3.2 GHz to 8.3 GHz, 4 GHz, and 800 MHz local oscillator sources, respectively. Each output terminal utilizes an SMA connector with a nominal impedance of 50 Ω, ensuring reliable and high-fidelity signal transmission.
The 781432-01also includes LED indicators to provide real-time operational status. The ACCESS LED shows the basic hardware status, with different colors indicating the module’s operational state—from being accessed (AMBER) to being ready for programming (GREEN). The ACTIVE LED monitors the signal generation status, with indicators for normal operation (GREEN), phase-locked loop (PLL) lock attempts (AMBER), and error conditions (RED), such as exceeding the approved operating temperature or power supply failures.
