The National Instruments 782299-01 (PXIe-5632) is a high performance, 2 port vector network analyzer (VNA) designed for PXI Express platforms. It is capable of performing full S-parameter measurements across a wide frequency range of 300 kHz to 8.5 GHz. The module features a flexible dual source architecture with frequency offset capability that allows precise measurements of frequency translation devices and S-parameters. This architecture is enhanced by source access loops and low latency triggers that enable the execution of pulsed S-parameter measurements and measurements that require an extended power range.

The VNA's IF bandwidth ranges from 10 Hz to 500 kHz that provides flexibility in adjusting measurement speed and sensitivity depending on the application.
This vector network analyzer is equipped with comprehensive sweep capabilities supporting linear, segmented and power sweeps. It offers a frequency resolution of 1 Hz along with a maximum frequency sweep of up to 8.5 GHz. The device can handle up to 20,001 measurement points per sweep that allows for highly detailed frequency analysis. The sweep modes include single sweep, continuous sweep and continuous wave (CW) modes that give users control over how data is collected and analyzed. This 782299-01 VNA supports a variety of data formats, such as magnitude (logarithmic and linear), phase, group delay, VSWR, impedance and reflection/transmission coefficients which are essential for in depth analysis of RF components.
