The CMT PXIe-S5090 (Part Number: 787251-01) is a 2-port PXI Vector Network Analyzer. This 9 GHz VNA is designed to provide phase, amplitude, and impedance measurements, as well as calculating the S-parameters of 2-port RF devices and time-domain analysis. The NI CMT PXIe-S5090 comes with a frequency range of 300 kHz to 9 GHz, fast sweep speeds, and a wide dynamic range. Thus, this PXI Vector Network Analyzer can be considered a viable solution for automated product tests and design validation. Moreover, this PXI Vector Network Analyzer is fully capable of offering full vector analysis, reference plane extensions, and calibration.
The CMT PXIe-S5090 PXI Vector Network Analyzer comes with two 3.5 mm 50 Ohm test port connectors and a measurement speed of 16 µs. This PXI Vector Network Analyzer is designed to deliver metrology-grade Vector Network Analyzer performance at a high speed. With this PXI Vector Network Analyzer, you can test your 2-port RF devices from the production floor to the bench in a completely modular, compact form-factor with 13 dBm maximum power and 138 dB dynamic ranges.
This VNA is optimized for high-performance automation, allowing for a short time to first measurement with fast test times. Moreover, the software for this PXI Vector Network Analyzer includes gating and time-domain measurements. The CMT PXIe-S5090 has a 1.0 GHz integrated CPU, 512 MB of RAM, and can run on Microsoft Windows 7. This PXI Vector Network Analyzer can receive 10 MHz external reference input through a male type 50-ohm SMB connector. You can also draw a 10 MHz frequency reference output from the CMT PXIe-S5090 through a dedicated port called Ref OUT 10 MHz.
