This module comes equipped with an onboard processor for automatic handling of all transmission-related activity including receive buffering and transmit scheduling. The LV-222-441-000 is designed by Astronics Ballard Technology/ National Instruments and has 8 channels. This module fully supports asynchronous and periodic transmission as well as timestamping and sequential monitoring. All these features ensure the reliable delivery of data packets which is a must to have in the avionics industry.
This module is widely used for different applications and brings you the control avionics data buses. The extensive generation capability and error detection are two powerful features of this module, which make it well-suited for production and system test and product development. The LV-222-441-000 comes with 8 bidirectional digital channels and 8 ARINC 429 channels. This module interfaces via a PCIe interface that offers 2.5 Gbps data transfer rate per direction and PCIe bus mastering.
The LV-222-441-000 is designed to comply with all the hardware design characteristics as defined for the PXIe type 2 form factor. This module utilizes a single lane (PCIe) interface through an x8 type standard PXIe connectors. This PXI ARINC 429 Interface Module does not require an additional power supply because it draws the required power from the host PXIe slot. The LV-222-441-000 PXI ARINC 429 Interface Module features integrated test circuitry that can be used for automated testing of the card’s functionality and to keep the user informed about the health of the hardware.
