The LV-222-442-000 (Part Number: 784803-01) is a 16-Channel PXI ARINC 429 Interface Module. This module comes from the family of OmniBus products and is designed to provide you access to avionics databuses. This module is used in a variety of operations, simulation, and test-related applications. The LV-222-442-000 comes with onboard hardware resources to provide you with a seamless controlling of ARINC 429 avionics databuses. It is important to understand that the ARINC 429 is a widely used standard that defines the transmission of data between various systems used in commercial avionics. A label identification method and broadcast bus topology are used by this protocol. However, an avionics databus operating on an aviation-specific communication standard cannot be accessed through a regular computer directly. Thus, there comes the role of the LV-222-442-000. Through this module, you can access any ARINC 429 avionics databus through your personal computer.
The 16 channels incorporated in this module are receiving/transmitting channels with configurable frequency support. Thus, you can operate your module at non-standard speeds. To set a configurable frequency for each receive and transmit channel, you can use the software provided with the device. The LV-222-442-000 comes equipped with sophisticated, built-in test circuitries. During the module’s operation, different internal modules are constantly monitored for errors.
