The CAN_H and CAN_L bus lines can handle voltages ranging from -27 VDC to +40 VDC. For Low-Speed/Fault-Tolerant CAN, the interface utilizes the NXP TJA1054A or TJA1055T transceiver, with a maximum baud rate of 125 kbps and a minimum baud rate of 40 kbps.
Additionally, the Single Wire CAN option, selectable via software, employs either the NXP AU5790 or the ON Semiconductor NCV7356 transceiver, achieving baud rates from 33.3 kbps to 83.3 kbps. The bus power requirement for this interface ranges from 8 V to 18 V. The PXI-8513 can be identified by two parts. Both have distinction in terms of their ports.
