National Instruments cPCI-5565PIORC PXI Reflective Memory Module
The cPCI-5565PIORC is a PXI Reflective Memory Module. The NI cPCI-5565PIORC is manufactured by National Instruments. The cPCI-5565PIORC is available with part number 781584-01. This module is capable of sharing data between multiple devices using a deterministic interface. The reflexive memory module can share real time data. The NI cPCI-5565PIORC can transfer data at high speeds keeping the latency level low. An important feature of the cPCI-5565PIORC module is its quick data access time. For this purpose, the NI cPCI-5565PIORC is equipped with an onboard SDRAM with 256 MB memory. This SDRAM stores the data of the module, then then transmits it to the memory nodes. For data transfer, the cPCI-5565PIORC module uses a fiber-optic path.
The National Instruments cPCI-5565PIORC PXI Reflective Memory Module is a software transparent device. This means the NI cPCI-5565PIORC does not need extra software installed to transfer data between devices. The cPCI-5565PIORC module is compatible with the hybrid slot that comes in NI PXI chassis. The NI cPCI-5565PIORC is installed in a carrier card. The carrier card used for the installation of the cPCI-5565PIORC module is a customized 3U cPCI carrier card.
The National Instruments cPCI-5565PIORC module can share data between devices with different bus systems and operating systems. This is possible because the memory node cards of the NI cPCI-5565PIORC module is available in different form factors such as PMC, PCI, VME, PCI Express, and low-profile PCI Express.
