National Instruments 788088-01 PXI LCR Meter

National Instruments 788088-01 is the identifying part number for the PXIe-4190 PXI LCR Meter that has a maximum frequency of 2 MHz. Designed specifically for determining the inductance, capacitance, and resistance of an electrical device- this LCR meter has 4 W of sourcing and sinking output power available. The DC current of the LCR meter ranges from 1 nA to 100 mA with increments at different levels, and it boasts a maximum DC voltage of 40 V. The 788088-01 has a diverse range of capabilities for various test and measurement applications.

The AC voltage for the LCR instrument of the 788088-01 has a maximum of 7.07 V RMS, allowing for accurate measurements. In addition, the AC current has a maximum RMS of 70.7 mA. The measurement times for the instrument can be set to either short (1 ms), medium (10 ms), long (100 ms). If the test setup requires custom measurement times, these can be user-defined in order to accommodate specific preferences.

Featuring a wide variety of connectors on it’s front panel, the 788088-01 makes connectivity a breeze. The panel boasts custom coaxial sockets in addition to standard sockets, as well as a mixed layout female D-SUB connector. The LCR meter comes equipped with robust protection capabilities for it’s output channels, including automatic output disable features that prevent overcurrent or overvoltage. Absolute maximum voltages specified at either ±42 V or ± 6 V adds additional safeguards to the device. 

Compatible with both PXIe and Compact PCIe systems, the 788088-01 measures 2.0 cm x 13.0 cm x 21.6 cm (0.8 in. x 5.1 in. x 8.5 in) and weighs in at only 481 g (17.1 oz).
