The National Instruments PXI-4065 (Part Numbers: 780011-01, 190310G-01L) is a 300 V, 6½-Digit PXI Digital Multimeter. An ideal choice for educational laboratories, OEMs, or other cost-conscious measurement and test applications, this multimeter is capable of creating 2 wire or 4 wire resistance. In addition, the NI PXI-4065 is able to perform diode tests and can accurately measure current and voltage for both AC and DC. The bandwidth of this DMM ranges from 10 Hz to 100 kHz and it boasts 6.5 digits of resolution.
The PXI-4065 Digital Multimeter is designed with excellent trigger characteristics, as it can receive various types of input triggers through both PXI Trigger lines and a AUX I/O connector. These input triggers are generated at a minimum pulse width of 200 ns. The PXI-4065 DMM is also able to output triggers at a pulse width of 1 μs and a logic level of 3.3 V. The system speeds for both the AC and DC systems of the NI PXI-4065 have a maximum trigger rate of 2.5 kHz and a trigger latency of <1 μs.
