National Instruments PXIe-4151 Precision Power Supply
The PXIe-4151 (part number: 788176-02) from National Instruments is a Precision Power Supply that offers up to 300 W of programmable DC power. The PXIe-4151 streamlines synchronization and removes the need for different instrumentation form factors to be combined into a single test system. An excellent choice for test and measurement applications from a wide range of industries, this power supply can be isolated from the device under test (DUT) with it’s output disconnect capability. If you need to design automated test systems quickly and efficiently, the PXIe-4151 is a valuable tool.
Designed with versatile connectivity in mind, the PXIe-4151 Power Supply features three connectors on it’s front panel. The Output connector is an OMNIMATE Hybrid connector. This connector has two size variations- the 4 position 7.62 mm and the 6 position 2.54 mm. The AUX I/O connector on the front panel of the power supply is a MICRO COMBICON-DFMC connector type with an 8 position 2.54 mm size. Finally, the AUX Power In connector is a MEGA-FIT RECEPTACLE type connector with a 4 position size of 5.7 mm.
The PXIe-4151 effortlessly utilizes a variety of Event/ Output Trigger types. These include Source Complete, Measure Complete, Sequence Engine Done, and Sequence Iteration Complete. The two destinations of the PXI trigger lines are Polarity and Pulse width. In terms of power, the PXIe-4151 can achieve a maximum of 1 A from a PXIe chassis that is either +3.3V or +12 V. If an auxiliary power source input is used, the power supply can achieve a maximum of 9 A with a VDC range of 45.6 VDC to 50.4 VDC.
Built for operation in a variety of environmental conditions, the PXIe-4151 power supply has an operating temperature ranging of 0 °C to 55 °C and a storage temperature range of -40 °C to 71 °C. As a two slot, PXIe/CompactPCI Express module, the device measures 4.0 cm × 13.0 cm × 21.6 cm (1.6 in. × 5.1 in. × 8.5 in.) in dimensions. Lightweight and portable, the PXIe-4151 weighs in at only 650 g (22.9 oz). It is recommended to calibrate the device every 2 years.
