With insertion loss, voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR), and isolation parameters, it minimizes signal degradation. Additionally, the onboard relay count tracking feature enables users to anticipate relay lifespan and mitigate unexpected system downtime effectively. The PXI-2548 offers a maximum relay operating time of 10.4 milliseconds, ensuring swift switching capabilities within your system. Additionally, it boasts a maximum scan rate of 45 channels per second, allowing for rapid data acquisition and processing. Each PXI Programmable Resistor Module is furnished with a 37-pin D-SUB connector on the front board, facilitating access to all channels alongside a 2x2 Micro-Fit connector for seamless integration with a PXI Digital Multimeter (DMM).

The accompanying driver software provides a user-friendly interface, enabling inputs in units of temperature or resistance and facilitating configuration of resistance across each channel without necessitating direct control of individual relays. PXI Programmable Resistor Modules automatically regulate resistance values via an I/O connector, enabling their use in HIL testing for rapid system testing across various simulated conditions. The programmable resistors on the NI PXI-2548 serve as test modules that simulate the behavior of resistance-based input and output devices, such as potentiometers, RTDs, voltage dividers, and bridge elements. The overall resistance on each channel, measured across the front connector terminals, is controlled by adjusting the circuit path resistance through the selective routing of discrete resistors using relays.
