The National Instruments PXI-2567 (Part Number: 778572-67) is a 64-Channel, PXI Relay Driver Module. This external driver works with external or internal powers sources. The integrated 5 V and 12 V power supplies come with fuses for protection against over-current. The customer can easily replace these fuses in the field. The NI PXI-2567 comes equipped with overvoltage, over-current, and over-temperature protection circuitry per channel. The settings for these protections are 80 V (max), 1.5 A (min), and 150 0 °C (max) respectively. The device has a maximum operating speed of 150 operations per second.
This Relay Driver Module has a 78-pin D-SUB I/O connector. For triggering, the user can utilize either the front panel or PXI trigger lines 0–7. This module can handle input trigger signals at 150 ns minimum pulse width. However, by disabling digital filtering, the user can have their NI PXI-2567 recognize trigger pulse widths < 150 ns. The National Instruments PXI-2567 is a 3U, one slot, PXI module. As far as its power requirement is concerned, this module consumes 8 W at 5 V, 0.5 W at 3.3 V, and 6 W at 12 V. Additionally, the device has an internal drive power of 5 v at 1.25 A, 12 V at 0.5 A.
