The interactive soft front panels can be used for basic measurements and debugging automated applications. The driver features help files, documentation, and ready-to-run example projects to assist in test code development. It also includes a programming interface compatible with a variety of development environments. Engineers can use the modular National Instruments 783762-01 SMU to build parallel, high-channel-count systems with up to 68 SMU channels in a single PXIe chassis, scalable to several hundred channels. Users can increase test throughput by leveraging a high-speed communication bus, deterministic hardware sequencing, and digital control loop technology to custom-tune the SMU response for any device under test. 

Additionally, they can control the SMU response through software, eliminating long wait times for SMU settling and providing the flexibility to minimize overshoot and oscillations. The PXIe-4135 can be identified by two part numbers.
